Hypnosis
If you were introduced to a quick effective technique to create change in your life instantly in your health, relationships, finances and career, would you try it?
We can shift the way you store values and beliefs in your body, so you can change whats important to you at the subconscious level, therefore releasing subconscious blocks to your success. We can do this with Hypnosis.
Chris Howard says " who we are is love, light and goodness, and what prevents us from tapping into that are negative emotions and limiting decisions, so when we release those things in our programs, we then become more of who we really are".
What is Hypnosis
Hypnosis is simply the deliberate use of imagination, paralelled with strong focus and relaxation.
How does Hypnosis work?
When you go into hypnosis, you simply get very involved with an inner reality and we create this involvement, this focus, by drawing to detail in an interesting way. Its just like when you read a good book; a great author will make the words impossible to ignore - they paint pictures in your mind. A good hypnotist will do the same.
Is Hypnosis safe?
Yes, Hypnosis is safe.
Can everyone be Hypnotised?
If you have a normal IQ, want to and can follow instructions, you can be hypnotised.
Can I get stuck in Hypnosis?
No, you cannot get stuck in Hypnosis. You are in full control at all times, so much so that you could get up and walk out at any stage during the session. You will not be made to do anything that you do not want to do.
Hypnosis is a Natural part of us.
The ability to go into Hypnosis is as much a part of being a human being as speech. If you couldn't go into hypnosis you wouldn't be able to learn, sleep or to get yourself nervous by doing negative self hypnosis (you know when you imagine things going wrong and it makes you feel anxious? well, thats hypnosis). We are naturally in hypnotic states throughout the day eg. when you are driving and all you can remember is getting into the car and then arriving at your destination - you don't remember the 20 sets of traffic lights, or the railway crossing because you were in a hypnotic state! Just before you go to sleep is another time you enter into a hypnotic state. It just is a very relaxing feeling.
The Conscious and Unconscious Mind
|
The Role of the Conscious Mind
|
Your Point of focus
Analytical and logical
Limited
Protects against perceived danger
The Role of the Subconscious Mind
Starts out as a clean slate and develops over the years with our beliefs, experiences and habits. It resists change, generates emotions and has an unlimited capacity.
Protects against known dangers and motivates you to fulfill your needs.
The Role of the Unconscious Mind
The Unconscious mind is born with instinct
Preserves the body
Stores memories (in the stream of time)
Organises memories,
Is the domain of emotions
Represses memories (unresolved negative emotions)
Presents emotions to the conscious mind for ratinalisation and/or resolution
Likes to follow orders (only from those it respects)
Learns symbolically eg. through stories
Communicates to us through dreams
What is a Critical Facility?
A Critical Facility is simply a filter system between the Conscious and Sub-conscious/Unconscious mind.
We literally get bombarded with 2 million bits of information through all of our sensors per second, so we need some type of filter system to delete, distort and generalise this information. These filters are based on our attitudes, values, beliefs, memories, decisions, language, meta programs, time space, matter and energy.
A clear indicator of this critical facility working is when you find yourself agreeing or disagreeing with things that you see, feel, taste, smell etc.
When you are in an 'awake state' (normal state) your critical facitiy is in place. When you are in a 'hypnotic state' the critical facility has been taken away so the hypnotist can work with the conscious, sub-conscious, unconscious mind.

All Learning, Behaviour and Change is Unconscious.
